Train services on Mumbai's suburban line of Western Railway were disrupted on Wednesday morning after commuters blocked the tracks demanding more trains.
Services on the slow tracks were blocked after commuters refused to allow trains to operate, demanding more up and down trains from Borivali and Churchgate, railway police said.
Trains were disrupted from 0920 hours and people are still being cleared from the tracks, they said.
However, services on the fast line were unaffected.
